Exemplar Health Care Expands YetiCare Across its Homes in England

Exemplar Health Care, which operates more than 60 complex care services across England, is rolling out YetiCare across its network of more than 60 care services. The decision follows a successful first phase in which 15 Yetitablets were introduced at selected homes, and it is an exciting step for YetiCare in the UK.

Following a positive response to the initial introduction of 15 tablets, Exemplar has chosen to expand YetiCare so that more residents across the UK can take part in interactive activities that support cognitive, sensory and motor skills.

YetiCare combines the large-format Yetitablet with purpose-built software for care and education settings. It offers games, creative tasks, music, reminiscence and movement-based exercises that can be used independently, one-to-one or in groups. For Andy Hamilton, Senior Digital Project Manager at Exemplar Health Care, the value goes beyond the games themselves. He sees the technology supporting cognitive stimulation, physical activity, social interaction and meaningful engagement, and Exemplar now wants to understand its measurable impact over time.
